The Devil's Advocate

Ireland has been a passionate and interesting - if sometimes lacklustre- contributor to the game of rugby, none more so than Limerick, at whose heart lies Thomond Park which is at the centre of the modern Irish game into the 21st Century. Read the thoughts, rants and rambling nonsense of those at the coal face.

  1. The fact that "Drico" from the pink ralph lauren jumper brigade has been selected captain is hard to believe given his recent form. I've seen people with zimmer frames move faster than him these days, but wait brian's strength is in the dressing room. He has a natural born ability to annoy players so much at half time that they take it out on the opposition....this must be it. We would have hoped that kidney could have changed things about but it looks like the IRFU are running the puppet show again....Scotland for the triple crown 9/1.......

  4. Anto...You and the "Gouys" may think Briano is the best thing since prawn sandwiches but He's no Keith Wood. Men were brought to tears when woody announced his retirement whereas i think we'd welcome dricos departure. He has a great future ahead of him as a male model for playgirl.......

  5. tom it seems obvious to me that you are a big hairy country bumkin who would not recognise raw talent if it was seeping out of a bucket, you munster boys(which i assume you are)need to look towords lienster for talent, emotion and guts, big mal need i say more.

  6. Oh yes History will look at big mal as the most capped player ever for Ireland....He'll have a statue outside croke park and "lienster" fans will compare him to O Connell. He'll still be getting into the irish panel long into his days in the retirement home while other talented players are passed over.........now go back to your Suv and eat your prawn sandwiches with your wrap around jumper and "lienster" scarf.........ya brian is very talented he's well able to take a spear tackle and his acting skills in faking a hamstring injury are oscar worthy........

  7. tom just read your last comment sorry i am so late replying but some of us have jobs, anyway with regards to your mindless ranting history shows us that only for the great lienster players of the past ireland would be just a looseing team of muck eating savages, and by the way if slagging off talented players is the best you can come up with i would advise your carer to stop writing your comments for you.
